The European Union Delegation in Somalia (EUDEL Somalia), in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Federal Republic of Somalia, is organizing the 1st EU-Somalia Business Forum.
The event aims to re-establish contacts, on a structured and long-term basis, between major European and Somali companies operating in four economic and commercial sectors that are particularly strategic for the Horn of Africa country: 1) agriculture; 2) energy; 3) digital services; 4) infrastructure and logistics.
The Business Forum will take place at a venue located within the protected area of Mogadishu Airport on 5th–6th October 2026.
The Delegation of the European Union to Somalia will sponsor the participation of a limited number of European companies in the event on a first come-first served basis: the package offered is intended to cover the costs of flights, accommodation, and local transportation.

The Delegation of the European Union to Somalia is available to organize online technical sessions for companies wishing to obtain further information about the event. These sessions may include:
- Specific sector-related information on the Forum areas (e.g. agribusiness, energy, infrastructure);
- Business-to-Business (B2B) networking opportunities;
- Guidelines for entering the Somali market;
- Security outlook and logistical arrangements.
