The AICS (Italian Agency for Development Cooperation) office in Nairobi has published a call for proposals in the emergency sector in Somalia.
The proposed intervention is focused on supporting the self-reliance of local communities and the needs of internally displaced people, through interventions to respond to the immediate needs of the population, the creation of sustainable basic services and the improvement of food security for vulnerable groups, with particular attention to women, children and people with disabilities.
The priority areas of intervention of the call are: water, hygiene, environment, territory, management of natural resources, climate change; agriculture and food security; health and nutrition.
The deadline for submitting applications is 30th August 2024.
