Italy is standing out at an international level in the engagement with the youth in the fight against climate change. It is of high importance the “Youth4Climate” (Y4C) initiative, co-led by the Government of Italy and UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), which aims at the active participation of the youth in climate negotiations.<\/p>\n
Also this year the “Call for Solutions” has been launched and it is open for proposals until\u00a026th<\/sup> May. The initiative is aimed at young people between 18 to 29 years old who wish to submit project proposals in the following topics:<\/p>\n 1) Climate and environmental education;<\/p>\n 2) Sustainable energy;<\/p>\n 3) Power supply and agriculture;<\/p>\n 4) Natural heritage;<\/p>\n 5) Sustainable consumption and production.<\/p>\n This year, the call for proposals can be submitted in three languages – English, French and Spanish \u2013 and each winning project will be awarded a financial contribution of $30,000.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For more information, please watch the following video:<\/p>\n
