The University of Trento has opened applications for the academic year 2025-2026 to two prestigious Master’s Degree Courses offered by the School of International Studies:
– Master in International Security Studies (MISS) – provided jointly with the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa.
– Master in European and International Studies (MEIS).
Both courses are entirely taught in English and offer a high-level preparation in the fields of international security, international relations and European studies.
Scholarships for non-EU students
The University of Trento provides scholarships for citizens of countries outside the European Union, which can cover up to 7,200 euros per year for living expenses in Italy. Available:
– 1 scholarship for the MISS course
– 3 scholarships for the MEIS course
In addition, there is the possibility of exemption from the payment of university fees for a larger number of students, based on the admission ranking.
Further economic support is provided for the descendants of Trentino emigrants, through dedicated scholarships.
Who can apply?
Candidates who fall into one of the following categories can participate in the selection:
– Citizens of non-EU countries not resident in Italy.
– Non-EU citizens with a residence permit for study in Italy, but without residence.
– Non-EU citizens with a temporary protection permit, without residence in Italy and without an Italian high school qualification.
Application deadline
Non-EU applicants can apply by 6 March 2025.
