The procedures for the selection of grants offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) in favor of foreign students are open.
The call (available here) provides for two different types of scholarships:
- 9 month-long scholarships, renewable for the following academic year in the case of enrolment in multi-year courses, available from 1st November 2024 to 31st July 2025. These scholarships can exclusively be awarded for Master’s Degrees, Higher Education Courses in Arts, Music and Dance (AFAM), PhDs, Research Projects in Co-tutorship.
- 3 month-long scholarships, available from 1st January to 30th September 2025, exclusively for advanced courses in Italian language and culture.
Interested students, after registration, can submit their applications exclusively through the Study in Italy portal, following the instructions and FAQ available there.
Successful students will also find useful information on the portal relating to: pre-enrolment procedure at the chosen institution; method of periodic payment of the scholarship; insurance coverage; procedure to be followed upon arrival in Italy.
The deadline for applications is 14:00 (Italian time) on 14th June 2024.
